Delete in the app

1. Open Popokit, go to your dog’s tab in the bottom bar, and tap the gear to open Settings.
2. At the very bottom, tap Account › Delete account.
3. Check what will be removed, tap Delete account, then confirm once more. If you signed in with Apple, an Apple confirmation window appears once.

As soon as it is deleted, the app returns to the first screen. This cannot be undone.

If you can’t get into the app

Please send a request to [email protected]. Include your name tag in the app, your dog’s name, and the account you signed in with (Apple · Google). Once we confirm it is your account, we will delete it the same way as deleting in the app.

What is removed

Photos and cards, walk records and routes, dog profiles, posts and comments on the feed, Golden Bones and packs you own, Plus status, app usage records, installation identifier, AI card request records, friend invite records. Photo files are actually deleted from storage one after another. Your cards that others have saved, cards you passed on by QR code, and replies to your comments are removed too.

What remains

• Payment records — 5 years. Transactions for Golden Bones and Plus are kept separately, without your account, name tag or profile, as required by Article 6 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」) and Article 6 of its Enforcement Decree, and are deleted after 5 years.
• Reports you made — without the reporter.
• The name tag you used — held empty for 90 days so no one can use it. Whose it was is not kept.
• Records on another person’s side that they liked or commented on your posts or followed you — only as a number, without your posts or name.
• Weekly account deletion counts that don’t include who deleted — deleted after 180 days.

Records already sent to Google Analytics are not linked to your account, so they can’t be found and deleted by account; they disappear after 2 months. Plus subscription payments are handled by the store, so please cancel separately in App Store · Google Play subscription management.
